Learn how to create a new room in Claims Estimate. By following this process, you will be able to add a new room to your project and ensure that all the necessary details are included for accurate reporting and estimating purposes.

Create a Room in Claims Estimate (Mobile Claims™)

Navigate to Claims Estimate (Mobile Claims) and open the relevant claim for which you want to create a new room.&nbsp;

Open the claim and find Diagrams

Under Diagrams, locate the specific Floorplan that you want to work in.&nbsp;
You can do this by searching for the Floorplan name or by scrolling through the list of available diagrams until you find the one you need.&nbsp;
Once you've located the correct Foorplan, click to open it.

Go to the diagram/floorplan needed

Using the floorplan of the property, identify the location where the new room needs to be added.&nbsp;
Select the shape of the room in the ribbon by clicking once. The shape will be highlighted in orange.

Note, you cannot drop a shape directly over another shape - allow ample space to drop the shape onto the canvas.&nbsp;
Edit the dimensions. Ensure that the details entered are accurate and complete.&nbsp;
Then, adjust the room size by:
<ul>
<li>Dragging the walls in or out using the square handles.</li>
<li>Clicking the measurement and use the large arrows to adjust feet and the small arrows to adjust inches.</li>
<li>Clicking the measurement and typing the feet and inches directly, being sure to use an apostrophe after the foot measurement.</li>
</ul>

Once the room size is adjusted, hover over the shape/room so that you can see 4 arrows on your cursor, then click and drag the room, connecting it to the desired location in the floorplan.&nbsp;
